WELCOME TO THE NEW DEARBORN WEBSITE!Happy St Patrick's day everybody and welcome to the brand new dearbornband.com V2... We will be updating the store with new merch and some other stuff real soon but please browse around and see what the new site has to offer. The CD release show is less than a week away and is going to be insane with a fashion show set to Dearborn's live music and support from The Record Low, O'Neill and Wean, Buddy Nuisance, and Exit Clov. It is the 3D-MAS 5 year anniversary party and we are introducing our new light show run by Patrick Spain. Lastly we are shooting the event for a live dvd release this summer at some point some be part of Dearborn history and make it on the film. Get your tickets right away before it sells out.2.27.07
CD RELEASE SHOW - MARCH 23RD AT METROWe are happy to announce that finally after well over a year we are ready to release "Always In Disguise" at the METRO on March 23rd. Sharing the bill is The Record Low, O'Neill and Wean, Buddy Nuisance, and Exit Clov. We will be introducing our new light show as well as a live fashion show with body painted girls as we shoot a DVD to be released in the spring when we tour to support the disc and dvd. Also, we will be on Q101 for an interview with Ryan Manno for Crash Test Radio airing on March 18th. Stand by for more info but we are SO EXCITED to share the album with you.11.20.06
HOUSE OF BLUES and a NEW PUBLICIST and THE NEW LIFE complete :We are happy to announce a new show right after the first of the year (Jan 5th, 2007) at the HOUSE OF BLUES with our good friends Bottle Of Justus. We are also very proud to welcome Sherra Lo and Karynne Tencer to team DEARBORN as our new publicity representatives.We have officially finished tracking and mixing for "Always In Disguise " with Producer/Mixer Larry Sturm (disturbed, ministry, naked raygun, prince, michael jackson) and have uploaded a few sample tracks to our myspace account. DEARBORN - Featured on NBC's "Kidnapped":Dearborn is proud to announce that one of our songs (Spread It Out) off of our debut album Prepare To Qualify is going to be featured on NBC's Kidnapped. The episode aired last night and will air again in an encore presentation on Saturday as well. This is our first television licensing and we are excited to share the news with you. Lollapalooza - We're getting closer:After litterally hanging on for a few months through over 2500 bands, we are still part of the last band standing contest to play Lollapalooza. Our fans, friends, families, and others have kept us in the mix by voting daily and spreading the word in a true grassroots fashion. After that Perry Farrel and other celebrity Judges sent us to this round. Well tonight we partake in part A of a two part round that they are calling the semi finals. We play a live battle of the bands on the South Side in Merrionette Park at a venue called 115 Bourbon St. If you can't make it out or if you are not in Chicago you can still help us win. From 10:30-11:30 Central Standard Time tonight text message the word DEARBORN to 99161 as many times as you can (no limit). The band with the most text messages in that hour becomes one of the final 4 Chicago bands. Then starting tomorrow it goes back to online voting for one week. The band of those 4 that gets the most votes goes to the finals where two of five bands will play Lollapalooza. We are honored to have made it this far and thank you for doing this for us. Colorado Here we come!Well tomorrow starts the Colorado tour and we are very excited. We will be stopping in several cities and we are offering anyone free stickers if they mention this news section or myspace to us at EVERY show. Next week we will be announcing a new Q101 contest we are in and you will get to preview a track from our forthcoming album called "Boy Next Door" online. Please help us spread the word to people in towns we are traveling to in the coming months. Dearborn and Cracker.Hey Hey Hey it's like being stoned! That's right. We are sharig the stage with Cracker at Durty Nellie's on April 1st! We also just added an ALL AGES show in May (the 14th) at Schuba's. This is in response to all the requests we have received on myspace for an allages event. NOW... we will see which one of you will actually come into the city and represent with us. The East coast was great and we look forward to the upcoming Colorado run and our return trips to NYC! Colorado Tour, NYC, Street Team!We just finished confirming our First Colorado tour! It will be the farthest west the band has played to date. We will also be returning to NYC in april to play the famous CBGB's before it closes. We also have recently implemented a street team. Schedule Change for WGN and "Iguana from Oh My God" is playing with us at the Metro!!We just found out that our slot on WGN has been moved from the scheduled 8-9 am to 7-8 am. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope you can still catch it. We will be posting it on the website if you can't view it ASAP.Also, Iguana from Oh My God is playing with DEARBORN at the METRO this Saturday. After playing Keyboards on over half of the songs on their new album he was invited to perform this show with them and graciously accepted. For those of you that aren't familiar with Oh My God here are some related links of theirs. (OMG on Myspace - OMG site) Iguana has played with Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Van Morrison, Jeff Healey and more. They were on the 3D-MAS compilation last year and are one of Chicago's (and the States) greatest rock bands. His presence adds a serious element to the band and is just one more reason to come check it out the Return of Rock and Roll 2 this Saturday Jan 7th at the METRO 12.30.05

DEARBORN returns to television January 5th!Well if you missed it last time... tune in to your local WGN station on January 5th as the band performs (three times) with some of their new songs during the 8-9 am hour. If you can't get up that early, or have work or school, TiVo those goods and check it out later. We will also be posting it on our website shortly there after as well.The performance is in accordance with the bands headline slot at the METRO January 7th, with several of their friends at the "Return of Rock and Roll 2" presented by Triple Dot MAS. There will be a discount honored for all students posessing a valid student ID on the last Saturday of most people's winter break. As stated earlier the event is 18+ so we are thrilled to see several of you that can't usually make it out, can come this time. New Featured show added January 7th 2006!We just added a show the first Saturday (1.7) of 2006 at the METRO. On the bill with us is Bumpus, The Bish, and more TBA. This show is 18+ so many of our myspace friends and other 18-21 year olds can make it out for this Chicago Throwdown deemed "The Return of Rock and Roll 2". Students can get in with their ID for only $6 or a comp ticket! We are currently working on new shows, new merchandise and finalizing this new website so please check back often! |
